This is a special time in the history of the Cornelius Corps. The new year of 2026 will mark the 25th anniversary of our ministry. Our mission of Equipping people for a shared journey of Racial Justice/Reconciliation and Spiritual Formation is as urgent now as ever. The way of Jesus’ nonviolent, inclusive, self-sacrificial love is being distorted and highjacked by advocates of white Christian nationalism in ways that dehumanize and brutalize people of color, both immigrants and citizens.

Through online and in person classes, workshops, and nonviolent direct action, our ministry focuses on racial justice as an essential aspect of Christian discipleship. Over the years, our online offerings allow us to build relationships with people who benefit from our ministry regardless of geographical location. In 2025 our network of relationships expanded to include an ecumenical group of people in Connecticut. We look forward to deepening this “Connecticut Connection” in the year ahead. The short video posted below is by Marla Chisholm, one of our new Connecticut friends. Please watch as she shares her own memories of the Civil Rights Movement and how participating in a Cornelius Corps online class helped to make the connection between God’s call to racial justice then and now.

The goal of our year end financial campaign is $15,000. With just a few days left in 2025, we are very close to achieving that goal. Please consider partnering with Cornelius Corps by making a year-end, tax-deductible gift. If you receive this via email, you can use the donate button at the bottom of the email. The donate button is also available on our website: (www.corneliuscorps.org). Another option is sending a check made out to Cornelius Corps and mailing it to Cornelius Corps, 10002 Locklies Drive Glen Allen, VA 23060.
